sponsons for 495mm long rigger

Anyone reccommend some plans I can get my hands on to make some new sponsons for my little boat? They need to be really quite easy to make as well. Mostly coz I arsed up making the ones the kit came with. Would teh ones from say, a jae .21 work ok on that length of hull? !help me please!

I had thought of that, but it's a bit too big, the tub I have is a mere 495mm (19.5"), not say, 36"

ok now Im being more dumb that I previously thought. The mini sprint FE is a lot closer in size, but is a little shorter. How would that affect the boat's stability and handling?

Should be fine. You can always stretch them a bit.

The JAE mini-sprint sponsons would be the best.... Check out the plans on the ne-stuff website,,,,

Place the sponson tubes where the bottom of the boat is parallel to the water sitting on the table.....

I managed to print out the part of teh plan that has just the sponson part on it, so I should be able to get on a make a pair soon enough. How do I go about making the top and bottom covers for them? (sorry for being dumb, Ive not made a great deal of boats to date..)
