sponson depth and angles

What is the proper sponson depth at sponson transom from hull bottom? And the angle from the sponson inside to the sponson bottom for a 1/8 scale or sport hydro ? Thank's, Glenn

Rick. I would be very interested in what work's for you in FL. Thank's for your reply. Two boat's are Dumas kit's. 73 pay& pak & 83 AVL. Just ordered a set of Newton plan's for U-76 Northwest Tank Service-plan 108. Haven't received those yet. Please feel free to give me your opinion. What I've heard is 3 degree sponson rise . The boats I have now range from 2 degree to 7 degree from inner sponson sides to the sponson bottoms. And one I.W. member recomended 1.25 sponson depth at sponson transoms. I'd have to do some serious carnage to to get the Dumas boats in that ballpark. Any help appreciated. Glenn
