Found some fiber lament board .020 thick. This stuff bends like a sheet of paper and tough as nails. Going to build a set of sponsons for my rigger with it . Also got some .058 thick for the sides and bottom.

$3 a sheet!

Where did you find it for 3 bucks?
Skycraft in Orlando. This place has every thing. It is a airospace surplus store. got all my building stuff for my rigger motor mount set up all the hardware small sw and boots all for next to nothing.

It cool shopping with all the old RC boats the owner built on the selfs for display. You should see the retrieve boat. It is a barge with two booms that lower and clamp the boat then lift it up.

The phenolic only runs about $5 per sheet on the average for a 36" x 36" x 0.020. The problem is that it's about twice the weight or more that 1/32" ply. Very heavy.

Be careful with dust from the phenolic. We send it out to be machined instead of doing it in-house.

Skycraft......

Awesome Store......I still have some of the hardware in my hardware boxes.
