SP40 Issues (Whip Style)

Just completed a Whip Style FE SP40 of my own design. Having problems getting it to hop on plane, just submarines. The sponsons ride pads have are shallow about 3/4" deep at sponson transom with 3 degree AOA. I have the strut & after-plane set at neutral. I'm considering moding the ride pads AOA to 4 or 5 degrees. Just curious if anyone knows what the NEWer Whpilash GV, Insane, Aeromarine etc (Whip style) Gas hull AOAs are.Opinions welcome.

I do not know what you changed but I would suggest that you put some steps on the sponsons. In the frontal area. Not seeing the problem in person I think it is being sucked down. The steps alleviate the suction.

Just make the steps and put a dot of CA on the piece and the sponson to try it out. You should find out immediately if takes care of your problem.
