John Otto at Technology Fuels will custom make you anything you want and can even recommend different types of oils and mixtures when going that high of a percentage. He's in NY right now, but he finally upgraded to the 21st century so he has emails on his phone now. [email protected] and I'm sure he'll get back to you right away and if you leave a phone number he'll probably call you even faster.

You might try S&W hobbies, I ran his 70% with 9% oil. Trust me on this. He can ship gallons at a reasonable price. It ain't the quantity if oil, it is the quality!!!

70% is a tricky option at 5,200 feet in elevation in a .21 motor. Very, very finicky at best. In the middle of summer we have an adjusted altitude of over 8,000 feet. Then the thunderstorm rolls thru and messes with things even more.

When it was on it was fast but when it wasn't on it was slow.

Just my .02

Actually the higher the nitro count the less you have on leaning and richening the boat better to stay with 50% you get the same service from it

Hi David, I was running 65% with 20% oil in my Lynx outboard in Salt Lake city last year. The boat and engine had never hit the water anywhere untill that race. I basicly broke the engine in running in the stock class and starting leaning it out in the mod class. I think it ran ok. I always use 65% in the 21's. Doug Sick made the fuel.

Boaters,

You just need to know what oil to use and how much to use with 70%.

It is really all about learning on how to burn the nitro for your application.

Then the next thing to learn is how much load is required to help you burn it.

Can't wait until our ice melts.

Enjoy Testing,

Mark Sholund

WTF is ice !! Still frozen ?

Florida Boy's,

Ice cools you down or your drinks.

We have plenty still if you need more?

Maybe this weekend it will be gone? I hope!

Has Been A Long Winter,

Enjoy Your Warm Weather,

Where do you guys get some of your information? Nitro helps cool a motor, but requires tighter head clearance (and different bowl shape and volume) if you want to make some power. Oil quality is way more important than quantity. I got about half a gallon of the 70/9 fuel I will give away at the Tunnel in Charleston
