HEY JOEY! How ya doin' man?? I hope you are good! Since you are a heli guy, or used to be, here is my latest deal.....im into rebuilding vintage R/C helis......this is a 1987 Kyosho Concept DX im nearly done with! Have fun, hope to see you at a boat race soon!

Looks GREAT! Definitely want to see pics of that machine when she's done. Is it one of your old ones? A newly acquired gem, or a total restore?

I am still tinkering with a Quest (Kyosho) Neo-Caliber 50. I should have bought/flew one of these 20 years ago. I hated the fiberglass canopy that came with it (it's nice...but "new"). Took me forever, but I located a Caliber4 canopy; that's basically what this machine is, with a Quest servo tray. Well....I had to modify that to get the canopy to fit with the FBL controller. It's been a fun project. I was at the end, and ready for testing; Probably why I got bored and stalled.



So, to answer your other question, yes I still turn a rotor every now and then. Just not enough! Hope to see you at an event soon!!

Thats a beauty man!!! My Concept was a beat up clunker that is pretty much of a total redo........having a great time with it! Are you going to the Spring Nats in Atlanta?

Great looking FE boats. I've gotta work harder to put together an FE tunnel...

Edit: if anyone has an FE tunnel to get rid of, I'd love to hear about it.
