Black and White 45 Avenger Spyder rigger

CMB 45 Purplehead Motor (I think that’s the HR motor)

Hardware – strut, rudder, stuffing tube with new 3/16 flex shaft, stuffing tube brace, engine mounts, spin fin

Plastic fuel tank

Snap on fiberglass cowl

Servos are mounted (not glued) into box- Futaba S3302 and S148

Tuned pipe (brand unknown) needs mounting bracket

Octura 1457 prop

Included – All NIP - antenna, Prather drive dog, Speedmaster strut bushing

This is a nice clean boat that is solid all around. Has two screws on the starboard sponson that were for an added water intake. There is a small nick in the port sponson (see picture) and needs a little paint near back of radio hatch. The tuned pipe has a few minor dings in it. I don’t see any indication that it was ever in a major crash.

The CMB 45 has a brand new piston & sleeve and bearings and it’s never been run since they were installed. It has a short exhaust header and a drive collet. Stock throttle arm has been replaced. The hole in the top of the cooling head has been plugged with a toothpick and CA. There is a small spot of JB weld on the side of the case which was I was told to assure that a small casting flaw wouldn’t cause a loss of crankcase pressure. This is a very nice motor all around.

I never ran this boat as I’ve been working on my Avenger Cobra. I have not had this motor or a radio in this boat so linkages will require adjustments (the motor mount holes do line up).

Boat will be shipped in pieces so some knowledge of setting up an outrigger is necessary.

(SOLD PENDING FUNDS)

If you need a radio, I’ll throw a 4 channel Futaba AM in for another $25

Item #2

RTR Mono

Seaducer Mono - Purple metalflake with yellow spatter and bottom

CMB 45 Purplehead Motor

All hardware and electronics

Octura 447/3 prop

The boat is in good condition. The bow has a square hole cut for the fuel tank access (taped in place, could use a graphic in that spot). It is setup with a sub-surface drive. Has some of the gelcoat chipped away on the port side (like most Seaducers the gelcoat seems to chip off easily). There is an oiler extension on the stuffing tube. Carbon fiber radio box lid, a Hitec 645 MG steering and a standard Futaba S3003 throttle servo. 4 Channel Futaba Attack radio on 82. Good batteries in the TX. 6V rechargeable battery pack in the box. I don’t see any indication that it was ever in a major crash. The boat is 37 1/2" long and 11" wide at the transom.

The CMB 45 has great compression and smooth bearings. Stock throttle arm has been replaced. The hole in the top of the cooling head has a setscrew in it. Has a CMB isolated needle attached. Pipe manufacturer unknown. This is a nice motor all around.

I have 4 45 mono hulls so the ugliest one needs to go :p . Seaducer boats are great performers but they are butt ugly (my opinion) . Looks like a camel on the water with that hump in the middle.

I think the boat is a 2 submerged driveline ,not a 3 surface drive .
You had me worried there for a second Tom.

As I said there are no surprises here for potential buyers.

In the post, it says "sub-surface". I made it a point to include that as these boats mostly run a surface drive.

They dont make a sd2 45 boat, and its not a sd3, so its a "sub surface 1" boat. still not a bad boat, iv seen a few fast ones, and own one to.

I stand corrected, it is a 40 mono and not a 45.

As far as being a SD2 or SD3, maybe someone could help me out here. This boat is 37 1/2" long and 11" wide at the transom. Seaducer calls their 40 mono SD3 to be 38" long and 10 1/2" wide. The boat was intentionaly build with a submerged drive. I purchased it as a SD3 and intended to make it a surface drive. I have since edited the posting.

Didn't they change the shape of the embossment on the deck when they put out the SD3?

CAMEL HUMP ! HA HA

Whoever made that surface drive boat subsurface ruined a nice boat.

You are right about ruining it by making the boat a sub surface drive M@M. I was told it was for his daughter to run novice. A properly setup Seaducer might be too fast.

I don't see it being too much effort to make it a surface drive. Maybe I oversimplefy it???
