McMaster-Carr has them in stock. If you go on their website it should tell you the material etc. I am using them and have not found any black stuff from the belts.

I'm not sure what they are made of, but theya are not like the black sewing maching belts...they do not leave marks.

They are listed as fractional horsepower "V" belts, the 2L series. They come in an large variety of lengths. I think I use the 2L190 which is their #7881K19 or 20?

They are Gates 3M Polyflex V belts made for transmissions. They are made out of a polyurethane.
