very sad news .

One of the drivers I has lucky enough to hang out with and meet a few weekends ago at the P-1 races , was in a terrible boating accident last night and his body has yet to be found.

I have not heard any updates yet- did they find his body ?

Very sad btw- I just hung out with these guys 2 weeks ago at the Tampa race.

They have not found his body yet...

He is from Egg Harbor township, NJ which is not far from here (Newark, DE)

...can't believe they were in a pontoon boat when the accident happened...just ran into a jetty....

From what I have heard from those a little closer is , they hit an un lighted marker and got tossed, then the boat went on to hit the jetty. The survivor said he and Andrew went out together. Regardless its am damn shame, good people,

needless to say, the P-1 Community is rocked to say the least right now. Sad day.

They where running a whopping 25 mph in a pontoon boat Rrray, thats the sad part about it.
