Best of luck with your shoulder my friend.

I would love to get the phone number of the hospital please.

i got a call from dave today after his procedure. he was hurting. but fine, wanting to go home, he may be home by tommorow.

Dave's wife was kind enough to call me last evening and say that he did very well during his procedure and, that they had to do more than originally intended and totally replaced the ball and socket (instead of just the socket which they had hoped would be the problem) but the Dr. felt that this would give him the best chance at eliminating a lot of his pain in the shoulder As Dan said above he may get to come home tomorrow.

Let's keep saying the prayers for him as he has had trouble with this shoulder for a long time

Thanks Mike for the news, get well soon Dave, you have to tune Mike's new 21 Vac. ;) ==={}

Dave,

Take a look at macoplasty.com before you do anything. This is the latest in knee and shoulder surgery. They do a CT scan and build your bones in a 3D cad file. They then make an implant that fits the damaged area only. The robotic arm only alows the surgeon to cut where the implant goes. If he tries to move outside the area, the robotic arm will not allow him. It is accurate to within +/- .004" This is the CNC surgery of the future. I spoke to a guy that had it done and he was playing golf within two weeks after getting a new knee. Let me know what you think.

I just talked to Nancy, Dave's wife and he is still in the hospital and will be probably until sometime Friday. He is having therapy twice a day but she feels the pain is getting a little better and hopes he does get home tomorrow. Keep him in your thoughts.
