No worries. I appreciate you posting the e-bay link to the SGX with MAC 84 that sold for $710. It was a great deal, Right? NO, it is the illusion of a great deal :unsure: . What this person bought is a headache. There is no telling what the true condition of this boat and engine is in. I hope it came with a bottle of Advil. They will need it.

that's 760.00 with shipping. so what's the better Deal here. 760.00 RTR on (Ebay) or 780.00 or 790.00 not RTR (Wills).

I don't care just look @ it from both sides.

What's to be said is there is a difference between buying from a person with a known reputation, who puts that reputation on the line, and is backed up by others who know the person versus anonymous sellers on eBay. I can't say one way or the other about the boat on eBay, but after meeting Will in Charleston and having the chance to see his boats, see how he runs them, and to chat with him for a while, I have no hesitation in believing his description. Having been being burned a couple times on eBay, descriptions from anonymous people are taken with great skepticism.

leaving the individuals out, i would rather buy here, than on ebay. you tend to know more, or can find out more about a boat or seller here than on ebay, imho. people here care more about their reputation than someone just out to make a buck on the interweb.

I was telling Will to keep it so that Him and I could go chase each other around the pond. Nothing directed at you. You probably couldn't buy this nice of a boat from most people willing to sell an SGX. This boat needs nothing done to it but install the running gear. Remember you get what you pay for and Will is not asking an outrageous price. If you think that then you have never bought a brand new boat from CMDi
