I had a transmitter handed off to me about a month ago and now am in the middle of a build. I apologize for the stupid question, but the servos I ordered were supplied with plugs that do not have the little polarity tabs on them. They will plug in either way. The servo leads are brown, red and orange. I take this to mean ground, hot and signal. The receiver is a Futaba R304SB. Facing the receiver, what is the proper orientation of the wires?

if you plug it in wrong.. it just wont work.. no harm done.. typically the white.. or orange in this case.. that would end up pointing to the center of the RX case...

The tab side is the orange or white signal.

The middle is always your red/positive.

The black/brown negative is always away/opposite from the keyed tab side.
