i am in the process of sealing the bare wood on the inside of the tub for a .80 rigger. what i was wondering is what is the best way to seal it with epoxy and have it come out smooth and semi flat and not look like a 4 yr old did it with his fingers

Dip a paper towel in the epoxy and "brush" it in with that using thin coats. Once dry, sand it down a bit and repeat. Do this for a few more coats and then do the final sanding. Once happy with the insides, paint your hull and spray the entire boat, inside and out with a good quality clear. Works for me :) .........
