When you run your Seaducer ,do you do it with or without cowl?

Do you see a difference of speed or stability?

If you have ever noticed any of the pictures of Jerry (SeaDucer Boats) from any of the BIG races, IE: NAMBA, IMPBA Nats, Spring Nats in Atlanta. You will notice he almost alway's has a cowl on his boats, coincidence? I don't think so!!

Rick

I tried to race in europe without cowl I had a big probem with the water spray of the other boat.

I would like to know if you think that the special shape of the cowl had some down force and a better handling of the boat

with my 47 gas race mono there is a difference with and without the cowl, the boat gets some downforce with the cowl and some protection from the propwash, without the cowl the boat is a little loose

Can only speak from my personal experience , but the old 40.5 inch 60 boat we ran with a 90 in it- liked the cowl lots :p

And as Rick already pointed out

Now i have a Seaducer with a 65 in it. I have never had a cowl for mine can you still buy them and if so where. I would like to have it for the water spray trouble helmut was talking about. Let me know Thanks

Get a hold of Jerry at Seaducer boats he will make you one up just let him know what hull so he can fit the cowl.

Yes I still make the cowls for the seaducer monos. The cowl does help the boat run in ruff water. Holds it down to the water.
