I recently purchased a new Seaducer 45 SD3 mono. In the instructions for the Fuel tray position it gives two different measurements. One measurement is 18 and 1/4 inches from the transom. The second measurement is for 18 and 1/2 inches from the transom. Which one is correct?

If it makes any difference I am installing a MAC 45 in it.

Thanks in advance,

David

Split it down the middle and go to 18-3/8"! :D I really don't think that it really makes that big of a difference. When a partially filled tank has fuel sloshing around in it, it's going to move things around anyway and not that much. So many other things can make a difference, from the size of the reciever battery pack and servos, the weight of the hardware hanging off the transom to any other part in the boat where most of the time the 1/4" isn't going to have that much of an effect in the tanks exact position. Just get it close.

I'd agree w/Ron. Most people add a hopper tank or larger fuel tank anyways so it'll change the weight up front anyways.
