What are you guys using for long runs on rudder push rods? I just ordered some 3/16 carbon fiber tubes from ZippKits and hope they will work with mods. I ordered today and their shipping today. Service is great.

I used some in a sport 20, will be trying them in a couple of scale boats in the not too distant future

1/8" stainless tig rod threaded 6-32 on the ends threaded into ball joints.

I like to only use the best servo horns that not only bolt on but have two pinch bolts that clamps the splines in the horn onto the servo splines so it will never get sloppy.

I also recess 1/3 of the ball in the ball joints into a recess I make with a ball end mill so it indexes into the servo horn and the rudder horn and this way it transfers very little force on the 4-40 bolt it only clamps the two together as the ball in the recess takes all the work.
