Just as it says. If you search for them you can often find at hardware store but some folks asked me about them as they often hit 2 or 3 stores and don't find or just find one or two.

If they sell, I'll continue to carry. If not, I won't

I agree completely Brad. However on certain cowl designs I've gone back to latches to avoid losing cowl in rough water racing. I lose a cowl it's last place points.

LOL, you're probably right..I often use both. If you're running scale and that cowl can slide sideways ever so slightly in a bounce, its gone.
