Does anyone have any info on Brian Watts and what he is currently doing? I sent him a large deposit on a RTR boat A LONG time ago and now he does not answer phone calls or e-mails. After I finally got hold of him last week he said the boat was done but since then I have heard nothing and not seen the boat. I hope he is O.K.

Eric,he was at the race last weekend in Ft.Lauderdale,

you should be able to get on contact with him now?Mitch

I placed an order with Brian this week and asked if he was still having problems with his foot (broke it just before the winter nats last month) He said he was still in a brace and going to therapy a couple of times a week. He is way behind with the problem with his foot but always amkes good on what he says.

I spoke with Brian today at 4:45 pm after I placed an order with him earlier in the day. He said he is fine but swamped with working on 9 boats right now. He is working as hard as he can but is getting phone calls and e mails up the gazoo. He is not among the missing.

Eric, he told me that your boat has been shipped. You should see it very soon.

John, thanks for the response. Unfortunately, if Brian told you he shipped my boat, he was not telling the truth. After emails and phone calls, I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ONE WORD FROM BRIAN OR SEEN THE BOAT. I had other people tell me they had spoken with Brian after my original post and they had been told the boat was shipped as well.....??? If Brian had problems and could not deliver on what he had told me, that is fine, but I think I deserve at least the courtesy of a simple phone call to let me know what is going on. I also find it disturbing that other people can reach Brian but I cannot. I no longer want the boat and will tell Brian to send me my money back instead. Brian, if you are reading this SEND ME MY MONEY BACK NOW and I will pursue this no further. To anyone else, if you are considering buying from Brian, get the product first and then pay him.

wwwwwwwwwwwwwwhoa buddy i can relate to your fustration about getiing your merchandize, but you should be careful when your going to blast someone. i have ordered tons of stuff from rocket city racing and i have always gotton my stuff you should consider this in novemeber i orderd two items for my ac sport 40 i didn't recieve them until the end of jan, what was the reason for such a long wait? the items were made in canada so i had to factor in the time it took to make, the schedule of Andy in canada the time it took to get to RCR and then the time it took to get from florida to NY where i live, i hope you can see that it takes time especially if the items needed aren't in stock at RCR. i can tell you that my history with brian is great i have gotton everything i ordered and 98% in a timely matter. PLease don't throw mud so fast find out all the parameters first ok dude.

So Brian broke his foot? I'm not worried about his foot as much as Eric's, after Eric kicks him in the butt! Jeff Lutz

Brian's a cool dude, he's always taken good care of me........the interesting thing is people seem to be talking to him, yet you can't. Call from a different area code, maybe he won't recognize the caller I'D number.

Eric, Brian is not a member of this site that I know of. He can be found once in a while in Jim's R/C Boat Dock when he takes a break. I've talked to him in there in Jim's chat room a long time ago. He puts in 16 hour days shipping, recieving and building boats. Yours is the first complaint that I've ever heard of from anyone about Brian. Some people are swamped with work especially during the building season for us in the snow belt and if it is one of Andy's boats that you are waiting for, Andy can only build them when the weather in Canada co-operates as he states on his site. I've waited 6 and 8 weeks before for hulls. Brian is injured right now so getting around can't be easy plus he just put on a big race in Florida on top of all he already has on his plate.

I wouldn't want to tangle with Brian, he is a retired semi-pro Hockey player!

If you guys read the entire thread, you would know that Brian recevied the boat from AC MONTHS AGO and told me the boat was completly done and ready to ship weeks ago! I have been very patient and I did give PLENTY of time to allow for errors. Why do you think Brian is not showing up to defend himself even though people have made him aware of this post? I have done business with Brian in the past and did not have any problems.....this time around has been very different! Just like anyone else, I make mistakes and appreciate the chance to make it right before I hear complaints. I have given Brian every opportunity to work this out and he has made no attempt at all.

I just got my backordered prop from brian yesterday.

I know he has always been good for me, But with your situation he didnt come through for you as he said he did.

If you ever need a boat built up, Contact Dom Mauro ( ACLAZER) on Jims, hes a stand up guy and really puts tougher a nice set up for people.

He shoulnt have to call from a diiferent area code. The man should answer the phone and let him know whats going on!

No problem Eric, I wish you the best, I am sure hes going to come through for you.

Just need to be honest and SAY YOUR LOADED WITH WORK.

I would rather be told its going to be another 4 weeks, then be told its done and not see the boat for weeks.
