If any of FE guys are interested in coming to Huntsville let me know. I will be glad to offer open or FE classes for you guys.

I would encourage any FE boater to attend one of the liquid fuel events and race in the FE classes. It is a great way to see how the "other side" lives, it supports fellow R/C boaters, and running on the 1/6th mile course is a hoot. The HOTMBC ran two FE classes last year at the LoneStar MBC Fall race and we had a complete blast! We found that for LSH 6 laps was perfect, 7 laps got things pretty hot. For BL setups, 4 laps was good and 5 was too many - all of this applies unless you detune your setup.

Running FEs at a liquid event also exposes the fuel guys to fast electric race boats. I remember our HOT club going to our first IMPBA liquid race last Spring, and the sponsors told us that they had an "FE boat" as a raffle prize. Their idea of a FE boat was a Nikko SeaRacer...... They know better now. :)

ya what Jay said

I have been to 3 nitro/gas races and raced with these guys in open mono, cat and 1/8th scale.. always a blast.

I like racing the liquids more then racing at the same site but, both helps the hobby
