Wondering if there is anywhere to buy a turnfin for a .67 size rigger hpoing to get one like the old avenger /cobra avenger /spider used where it bolts in from the side and rear of the shoe. So I don't have to fill the old holes in. Thanks Dave

I think that I have some laying around. I'll check and let you know. Is it for an avenger or a cobra?

Al Im not sure I got 3 of them from a friend 2 are 90 size and the third is a .67 which I am helping a kid put together who bought it from me. It has the four wood screws in the side and three in the back of the shoe. I will post a picture of the one on the 90 it is the same I believe. Maybe you can Identify it for me. I wish someone could clarify the difference between the avenger, cobra and the spider so I would know what I have. The first pic is the 90 with cowl on it. Second is the 90 shoe with turn fin. The third is the 67 shoe which the 90 turn fin matches the holes perfect. Oh also the 90 and 67 cowl are the same shape but will not interchange between tubs. I think from the setup sheet Ray sent that they are avenger's Let me know what you have Thanks Dave90 rigger cowl.jpg

Hi Dave,

The center picture is definitely a Cobra. That is the Cobra cowl and the method used to keep the sponson booms in place.

The Corba sponsons were very similar to the Avenger sponsons.

The Spiders had more of a round look. The Avengers had more of a squared look. The Cobra was more of an updated Avenger.

Did you find all of the turn fin assemblies you needed? The Avenger and Cobra hulls used the same turn fin designs. The 67 size and larger boats had the bracket to stiffen the turn fin.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I will need 2 turn fins for the 60to90 with the rear bracket. I could use a cowl also in the near future. I might turn the new 90 I have into a gasser. not sure yet. The one in the pic is about ready to fire up. Just need a warm day to seal my stand for it. I just finished mounting the cowl.
