The boat is 1/2" off the water the full length all the way to the first bend.

I think I know where you are going with this....been talking to Zaker,huh?......This boat doesn't need to be any higher...........

Remember,Truex had this boat at 74 on the radar with the O.S. TZ.18........ ;)

Haha, I actually wanted to know if the tub was supposed to be parallel the whole way from bend back. For some reason, my hull came out a hair higher at the transom than at the first bend. Its not a big difference, maybe 1/16". At the bend Im just under 1/2" and just over 1/2" at the back. Worries me a little, Im going to try run it this weekend and see what happens, then adjust accordingly...Yes, Ive been talking to Ron and had that convo with him about the 21 boat. I cant wait to get the kit...

The 1/16" ,up or down, means absolutely nothing......it will be just fine, even at speed....... ;) JAE boats have so little combined frontal area in the tub and sponsons that aerodynamic lift is a non-existant problem for consideration.

The important point is the tub bottom itself stays flat front to rear and is reasonably parallel to the water at speed. The short kick up in the front is to aid in the launch and doesn't affect the ride attitude of the boat.
