You can buy them at any auto parts store. They come in all different sizes. They are used too cap off any unused carb vents.

I've been to 5 different auto part stores and they either don't know anything about them or don't carry them. I need some leads on who carrys these in different sizes. Thanks!

John

DuBro makes an assortment of carb covers, of various sizes and are used primarily for RC cars. Tower Hobbies has them.

John,

How many do you want ? And what size carbs are you trying to cover?

I use foam ear plugs also.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

i've seen them at both a commercial hvac supply & a industrial pipe & supply warehouse. used for capping a/c & medical gas piping while roughing in buildings. also protect threaded ends of pipe during shipping. is there a company called noland near you? they have them. CAPLUGS is the trade name for them, also a brand of them.........

20's, 40's, 67's, 84's and a 90 riggers and two 20 tunnels. Have about 10 boats that can run. Wife says that is way too many for a retired man. I have come to think she is right.

I've seen them called "Thread Protectors" or "Tubing Ends" and I've found mine at Sears Hardware in the nuts and bolts drawers.
