FAST member Mark Stein and I did a little work at Thread Lake yesterday, site's looking good.

Only a week to go now! :)

I'm an out of town visitor in Utica and I'm wondering if there will be activity at the pond Sunday 9-30-12? if so i'd like to come watch.

Thanks,

Terry, Mike, and Mark,

I cannot make it this year, got Saturday off but have to work

Sunday. I see the weather is going to be a little rough for small

Hydros anyways.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Too bad you can't make it, weather actually looks pretty good, breeze will be behind us (normal direction) all weekend and only 8 mph tomorrow.

Sunday looks even better! :)

Mike, Mark and I got the site all set up today, water was dead flat this evening even with a 10 mph west wind. Weather's lookin' pretty good for the weekend... :)

Another great event hosted by the FAST club, thanks guys, without you these weekends just wouldn't happen.

We had great conditions both days, wind was from the west on Saturday (normal direction) up to 25 mph and the course was still flat thanks to the shelter of the UAW Freeway behind us. Sunday was FANTASTIC all day with no wind and 100% + air, many fast runs were made but as they say "close but no cigar" for most. Just shows you how strong some of our records are and what an honor it is to be holding them.

There were a few fast electric records set, Keith Kirchen in S Tunnel at 77.453 mph and Chris Krawczyk for P mono oval at 28.795 and S mono at 27.997, congrats guys! :)

Good job this weekend guys. Had some fun and was good seeing some old friends. Thanks to the Sheren's for lunch both days. That hit the spot.

It was good to get the boats on the clock and find out how fast we are going. Looks like I got some homework to do. All of the Murany boats are running fast, especially with heat race set ups. Matt's 40 is pretty awesome. We need to get that kid out racing with us next year.
