Picked up the retrieve boat and am in Flint, FAST gang Mike, Mark and Mikey coming tomorrow to set up and do a little running.

Weather doesn't look so bad after this front goes through...

How's it going at Thread Lake? The Weather Channel has been showing the flooding in Flint. My brother-in-law and his family live in Flushing. He was a 1/2 hour late for work this morning at the Flint truck plant and schools were closed in the area. Maybe the water level rose some.

Yup, Flint area got 5"+ of rain overnight, I-75 was closed at 69 still tonight.

Water levels are going down but this is what we had today:

We usually have 75' of pit area that's under water, needless to say we didn't get the site set up today but we ran boats and should get it in tomorrow. :)

Wow, that's a lot more area than it appears in the photo! "Pinckert Point" is gone and that's one of the highest spots there by the lake.

The weather looks good for the weekend though, party cloudy skies and good temps for breaking records.

Get some sleep, you've got a long weekend ahead of you.

Well the lake dropped about 2' and we got our pit area back:

Water layed down flat for about 10 mins then that nagging 5mph breeze from the east (unusual direction) tormented us all day. Got FAST member Mark's Mutt running real good by dark, Joe Flynn and son Mike did a bunch of testing and were happy with their Tide U/L.

Tomorrow's supposed to be good. :)
