What are your thoughts about using LIPO/Life battery for the receiver pack????

Everybody is doing it now!!! I switched to Life as most recievers cant handle a lipo

Depend on your size radio box also size servos ( mini , std or big) I ike to use Life

Hi Fon I have lot of LiFe Rx batterys so threw away old Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd batterys ( Good bye)

Be careful Issue about Charger must set up for" LiFe " . If set up Lipo will destroy to RX LiFe " like bomb"

If you leave switch on and drain them 100% then they are also garbage. Do it once and you will remember to check that switch

Yes that's fact if you leave switch on all overnight then LiFe Rx battery already swellon " Dead"

If you unplug the battery as a regular procedure you won't have to worry about the switch. I have resurrected a few dead LiFe's with a wall charger to get the voltage up to where the balance charger will recognize it.

The life packs 700mah work great as rx packs.
