RCU Gold Cup and Antique Hydro Videos. October 3, 4 2009

Lake Chelan promotion group posted videos of the consolation and final heats of our Gold Cup and the Antique hydro crew day from this past weekend.

Watch David Jensen make a perfect start and walk away with his 1969 Pay N Pak in the connie to move into the final.

Then watch David Newton make a great start only to be outrun by Kirk Maupin with his Esquire Products in the final.

A couple of interestng things to notice. 1. The hard left turn boats are required to make as they head out onto the race course, you can't cut the course when leaving the pits. #2 The Rocky shorelines. The only place without rocks is the pit launching area itself. This is no place to lose control of your boat. There are many horror stories from this course over the years.
