I have received quite a bit of negativity concerning the recent decision to start billing for the use of rcRacingEvents.No matter that it was free for almost a decade.

I recently received an email from someone demanding a .06 cent refund for an accidental overcharge of paypal fees. This is causing the to reconsider my desire to keep rcRacingEvents up and running.

I haven't raced in over two years and frankly the BS from a few certain people have me about two minutes away from taking the whole thing offline and saying good by to all of you.

I got out of boat racing because of the petty high school drama crap you guys love so much.

I'm sure that the upcoming Namba entry system will be all you wanted. They can deal with the drama for awhile. I'm tired of it.

It is very simple IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE WAY BILL RUNS HIS SITE

DON'T USE IT!

Just remember how easy he made it for registration of your races, how easy he has made it to receive payments, how easy he made it to set up your heats, and how easy he made it to get a boat count to order trophies!

The money you save on ordering trophies for classes that didn't make your boat count should MORE than offset the

cost of using BILL'S SERVICE.

I told Bill in 2011 that he should be charging for his service. NOW PAY ATTENTION WHAT BILL SAID IT WON"T HAPPEN UNTIL

IT HAS BECOME A LARGE OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE.(He is recovering his expenses)

Bill had to get a new service provider and upgrade equipment to KEEP THE SITE UP FOR US TO USE.

STOP THE BS IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GO BACK TO SENDING OUT FLIERS, WAITING FOR CHECKS (NO CREDIT CARDS), AND DOING IT ALL YOURSELF.

SIDE NOTE: The cost of postage, printing, and bad check fees (witch you will have). IT WILL MORE THAN OFFSET THE COST OF USING RCRACING EVENTS,COM

If you don't like it shut up and don't reck it for the rest of us!

We at the Badger Model Boat Club greatly appreciate your software. We setup five races last year with RCRACINGEVENTS and had zero problems. We have three planned for this year.

There is no way our club would consider that many races without the aid of the software. We are also using it on the judges stand to score races and use the audio clock in the race program.

Your fees have never been an issue with us.

Please keep up the good work and ignore those who want their six cents back.

One of our mottos is more fun less work, and your program does both for us.

There are few, if any clubs, that has supported your site and the service you provide, more than the CMB club. I also told you many years ago, when I was using the first beta program you developed, to charge a nominal fee for the use of the software. You kindly declined to keep it free. But circumstances have changed that. However, what has not changed is that I, the CMB and many others NEED your system. PLEASE do not drop it.

I totally agree with Kevin. For those that gripe about it, just respond by telling them you do not need their business. They can go else where, PERIOD. There will always those clowns and difficult people, just ignore them.

Might be time to just offer your service to those that appreciate it. I know our club will support it, even if it means financial support up front.

Let those un-appreciative, self proclaimed experts develop and support their own system. I wouldn't spend 2 seconds worrying about it.
