Hey guys just seein if any one is racin? Hows the turnouts? What ya racin? I am currently runnin at local track in st louis prac thursday night race all day saturday usuallly a100 driver turnout every weekend. I am racin team associated b4.1 an b44.1 orion motors an esc thunder power lipos an charger its a lot of fun. Were having the jconcepts indoor winternats the first week of febuary estimated 500 drivers i have more info if needed.

I've raced b4.1 buggy and SC10 at Reo Raceway a few times this winter.

SC10 is maybe 20 drivers each weekend. Mine has a 17.5 novak with Tekin RS ESC, gens ace battery.

B4.1 has a 13.5 Novak, LRP Spere TC ESC, but has a 17.5 in it now because I keep breaking the 13.5 Ballistic.

Today I got a call to run my nitro 1/10 shortcourse and maybe the stubborn T-MAXX at the monster jam tomorrow! I'll try and shoot some video.

What brand sc10 trucks you guys running? I got a stock blitz and run it with bryson my grankid but havenot tried the race yet. I should shop for a better brushless truck.

We race mostly associated SC10's. A blitz is decent though, and with a 13.5 brushless system will really scoot and can race in mod CORR anywhere.

After 2 years of abscence. Pulled out the RC10B4 and went to the track on JAN1. Also brought along the boy (10yr old) with his new T4.1 RTR that we got him a couple of months ago. Had a great time running for fun and will probably be headed back soon for some racing. The boys truck needs new tires and less motor. He was having a hard time getting hook up. He was getting use to it by the end of the day. Would of bought tires at shop but they were out of bar codes (tire of choice). Got the tires ordered up and a new 17.5 for me. They stop racing superstock so I needed a new motor. Going to drop my 13.5 in the boys truck. Should be perfect for him in novice. Now just need for work to slow down a bit. So I have some time to go to the track. 60 hrs a week and worn out. Need the Sunday off for recouping.

i'm not racing, just pasture bashin'. saturday was 60* & sunny, we went out & burned about 3/4 gal of fuel in our trucks. alice has a revo 3.3 & i have a duratrax thunderquake with a mac engine. had a blast!!! one of my local hobby shops just moved & built an indoor clay track. outdoor nitro racing starts in the spring.

Anyone have any info/reviews on the associated trugy? I have been thinking about a electric conversion for thrashing at my brother inlaws track! !!

Doug, at METIME has a new service. VHS to DVD, just sent him a bunch of boat racing tapes from the 90's. Can't wait to post some stuff to Y-tube, if I can stop laughing long enough. :D

I just got an SC10 2 wd truck. First time at the track I learned driving an RC car/truck is far more of a challenge than a boat. I also learned that ready to run does not mean ready to race. It's a Team Associated and needs upgrades to the shocks, tires and steering servo to be driveable on the track. The local track here has a good turnout for their club races. It is interesting and challenging but I can't get hooked into it like my boats. But on the flip side you can't throw your boat out in the yard and run it around either. :p

As Grim stated, for you guys looking to stay sharp on the Tx, go out and race some winter indoor car racing. Have been doing it for years and it still gets more fun everytime I go. Racing on an oval for some money tomorrow. Short Course are very much the class right now but if you are looking for a challenging and rewarding drive, try a 2wd buggy. Nitro scale in the summer outside is also a hoot but can get very expensive to stay competitive. Kroggs, the RC8T is a very good truggy and will run right with the best of them.

Mike;

thats a nice long video of Rc car racing you put on youtube......

And the quality is amazing. My digitized vid's are not to good....

Keep more coming Grim.
