Bolt on lids is the old way, it is quicker and easier to use tape. You also don't have to worry about the bolt thread leaking!

John Maki I have screw on lids check out my work in the link posted thanks. I can make a custom size too

Brad is right bolts are the old way had trouble some times them leaking tape is way to go never had problems with the new style boxes

Not all screw ons are made the same, not all tape ons are make the same either. I build them both and my preference is the screw on...tape takes too long...you can screw unscrew my boxes in less than a minute. Check all other connections like push rods because a screw on or tape on lid should not leak
