Looking for ideas to seal a couple sets of wires like servo leads from inside the radio box to the motor.

Mike

I run exposed servos only my reciever and battery is in a rubbermaid box I seal the box where they go through the side of the box with Shoegoo that I buy at Walmart shoe dept or Ace hardware in there adhesive section.

If only single wires then get regular grommets. If three wires (servo type) then steal the rubber grommet off an old servo maybe.

Aeromarine grommets i used and then shoot end of grommet with sealer and then nylon tied it and havent had a drop come through.

ones for ant wire and another is for the 3 wire servo wire. both not a drip.

these are the grommets with the 3 screws to screw it down, I silicone around that as well, the push in and glue in ones are junk, never had good luck with them.

I use the Shoe Goo. It holds great, but can still be pulled loose without breaking the wire.

Think about using liquid electric tape.. comes in different colors and seals very well. Use it on the servo's also where plastic meets plastic.

Mark.

what kind of rubbermaid box do you use for the reciver and battery and where do you buy them at

thanks
