I got a email from Ted Schuman saying Pops passed last nite. Pops was Teds dad and Wrenchman and has attended races in D14 for a very long time. A gentle man he would talk to everyone and never get upset. Pops will be missed by all who came in contact with him........Mike Schindler RCRC

Never got to meet him, but had heard much about the man.

The Brandon Model boaters send their condolences to the Schuman family.

Godspeed.

I remember back a few years at the Summer Challenge in Celina, they payed tribute to Peck as it was the anniversary of D-Day that weekend. Peck was a D-Day vet, and it touched everyone that was there. I still remember the look on his face to this day. A big loss to all the guy's that knew him and exspecially the scale racers in both District 2 and District 14.
