ok guys in my new hull i have aluminium boom tubing on it whatother types can i put on it besides the aluminium ones

It's common to use hollow graphite and/or fiberglass rods for the boom tubes. Size is going to vary depending on the size of rigger that you are doing.

I have also uses carbon-fiber arrow shafts on my riggers with good results.

As far as suppliers for these check kite building shops and/or hobby shops.

If you are instantaneously going to be going for records or seriously challenging for national titles then look at the composites as stated in the previous message.

Otherwise leave the alloy tubes in there. Many a race has been won with alloy tubes. Almost all of my boats still have alloy tubes. Sont waste your money until you find a problem with the alloy tubes.
