Question about tank location

Is it better to put a single tank on the inside or outside (with reference to corner direction) on a sport 40?

Some like it on the outside so that it holds the left sponson down, others on the right due to the skid fin. Other than that, I don't think it really matters too much as long as the fuel pick up is in the left rear and the vent in the front right corner of the tank

From my experience I don't think it matters. I have ran both and didn't see any difference
