Just a thanks to Grim and the gang at hobbico for improving their product, We took 8 UL-1 Superior boats to a College for a fund raiser. These boats were put to the test. Last year we broke turn fins out of boats, fried speed controllers, but still made it through the day, This time, We dented turn fins without breaking out the back of the sponsons. We had no speed controller failures, and we even seen one launch up a water fountain. That boat actually finished its heat, We speed repaired it, and it raced again. What an awesome boat! Its safe to say we will be doing it again! Ken

Ken, I have a UL-1 that I run in Texas and the boat is a Hoot. It is fast, handles well and alway comes back to the launch area. Take care and hope to see you again in the future.

I will be there! There are also some of these popping up in our club. I think they may help us get a few new Thunderboaters. Man, I need to brush up on my electric Rules! Ken
