Hi guys,

If anyone is interested in checking out some Fast Electric racing action, the Puget Sound Fast Electric Model Boat Club has started a www.YouTube.com site for our club members to upload videos to. There are 3 up there right now, and several more being processed by YouTube as I type this...

Just go to PSFEMBC YouTube Site, or go to www.YouTube.com and do a search for "PSFEMBC" and you'll get to them... Then, click and hang onto your hats... These aren't you father's "toys" anymore!! ;)

Keep checking back, as we'll be using this frequently, especially with the FE Nats just around the corner...

Thanks Guys....

If they're spending their energy worrying about what "I'm" doing wrong... then they aren't focusing on what THEY need to do right to beat me! ;)

Very cool Darin. I like to see vids of local races around the country. I hope more folks will post video. B)

Cool videos! Any details of Brian's P Mono?
Sure... 33" Delta Force Mono, Speedmaster .187 hardware, Neu motor (1521 I think), and Hydra 240 ESC on 4S2P PolyRC Lipos...

Not sure of the specifics beyond that...

Here you go:

-Delta Force 21 mono (33") with solid hatch.

-1521/1.5D Neu (mounting plate 5.25 from transom)

-Speedmaster hardware (stinger shortened a bit, cut down 21 rudder, large turn fin with about 3/8" off the bottom)

-.187 cable

-4S2P Neu 4900's

-Hydra 240 with a couple mods (1 more cooling plate and added capacitors)

-X646/3

That boat hit the water for the first time that morning. The heat in the video was only it's 4th run. There's quite a bit more potential in the boat with more tuning.

The ugly hop and submarine on the second lap was hitting a fish with the rudder. Once the rudder was kicked back, the handling went away big time.

This isn't a setup to run with an unparalleled pack. 7 laps on the 1/10 mile was good for 3700 mah out of the pack. I'd be comfortable running the combo as it sits for a mile race plus mill a cool down. It's possible I drop to an X447/3 cut to about 45mm.

Thanks Brian, that is great info. The look and sound are brilliant!

Interesting that you shortened the Stinger. I have recently gone from a Stinger to a regular Speedmaster strut on my NS3 (with the nose shortened to fit behind the transom), just wasn't happy with the handling with the Stinger. Haven't tested it yet, but I'm keen to find out how she goes.
