Probably the best overall research I've read is for full sized props and addresses racing applications. It's called "Secrets of Propeller Design" by

James D. Russell, P.Eng. from AeroMarine Research in Cambridge Ontario, Canada

John I have seen the website for that book but was a little concerned it was full of hype rather than decent info, Mark,, I really appreciate your advice and will wait to see what references you have in your library!
