I am trying to set up my outboard outrigger, it is an Eagle SG converted to use a K&B 7.5 outboard. I am wondering how much weight should be carried by the prop?

1 to 1.5 pounds. For SAW could be more. For oval the-T fin would have to move rearward as prop weight increases.

I am guessing for example a hydro

Put the front sponsons on blocks under the ride surface

Full loaded and put a digital scale under the strut and weight it there. Take in mind you want the blocks that the sponsons sit on to be the same height as the scale

I THINK. At least that is how I do it right or wrong
