prop for sport 40 shovel nose

i have a sport 40 shovel nose hydro a/ an x450 prop on it and seems liek it migth need a different prop i was just wondering what would get me in the ballpark it seems liek the boat could be a lil faster. it has a k&b 45 drum motor

Try a 1450 or 1452 prop.

Dude,

The 1450 and the 1452 will lift the back end of the boat up a little,they are

lifting propellers. You may just need the X-450 pitched up a little,if you would

like I can pitch it up for you for the cost of postage.

I've found the lifting prop for my MTO shovel nose to work considerably well.

Are you running them stock or have you backcut them at all? I have found that

the new 1452 really has some lift in it. They may need a little work to run even

better. It is really hard to say on some setups,because the strut depth and angle

are so important.
