Gooy didn't read the rules, he's laughing. But us bearded brothers have to stick together so here goes.

I first like to reduce the size from mb to kb size

Click on "attach file" in a reply, for sale post, or PM

Choose picture, click "attach this file" wait for it to load, add more if you want

That should do it

Looking forward to seeing all my buddies soon!

'The Easiest way is to use tinypic-

1- go to tinypic.com

2- upload photo from desired location

3- once uploaded , choose Upload Now using IMG for forum or message boards .

4- Copy image and paste on desired thread.

Allows larger sizing , no open up links and can be edited. Sized properly every time.

Marty.. I use..

Image resizer for windows. It’s a free down load and works great. You can down load it and learn how to use it on the link below (Super easy)

https://imageresizer.codeplex.com

So.. it goes like this. I want to post a pic.. but it won’t upload because it’s too large.

NOTE: So you know most all pics taken today by just about anything are too large to upload to I waters.

I go to the folder I have the images in (I like to see thumbnails).. high-light them and right click (it can do a bunch at a time). In this right click menu you will see..

“resize pictures” click that.

There is a small box that comes up and you can make them whatever size you want AND OR keep the large copy and have a small one too! They stay in the same folder.

Then you can do the picture install on I waters to get the pic uploaded.

The trick is to take photos small enough to begin with! Look at your camera settings & reduce the size there. Then it's just a matter of downloading them here through the attach picture option in your post. If I take them with my tablet, they're already on it ready to upload. If I take one with my phone, I email it to myself, then I can save it on my tablet, then upload here. No outside programs or editors. Keep the file size small to begin with & it's so simple even a FROG (me) can do it - LOL!!

There is no reason to take low quality pictures just because you might want to post one. It takes less than 3 seconds to resize a picture.

I you want to post one out of the bunch you just copy and paste it first so you still have the high quality one and resize the copy.

Marty,

Just open the full editor at the bottom box. Then you will see the place where you browse for your picture on the computer and upload it.

Tinipic, Photobucket and the like are options but they don't make it any easier really. It is usually how I do them because they show up on the page opened so they can be easily seen.

Exactly why its a better way to skin a cat- and takes the exact same amount of time
