i have a 39 inch cal craft with a new os .65 and a 11cc mac products nitro pipe. im looking for some response on a pipe legth how long and where you are measuring it from. i will be running an octura x457 three blade prop on it.thanks shane p.s i started with 11 inches from where the header bolts on to the high spot of the pipe i know its to long.

I use Marty's program for setting up my eng and it works well for me. On a OS 65 at 25000 RPM 11.39 from piston face to middle of rear cone.

that is the portion of the piston you see looking thru the exhuast port on the motor. put the piston at top dead center and measure from the piston surface you see thru the port OUT to the section of the pipe that dwilfong told you to.

See like a problem somewhere, I can get to the chart OK directly but not using the above info, let's try to insert a picture of the chart
