Texan pipes... That will work great with that motor. You will need to shorten the pipe a bunch. Measured from the side of the head (like where the water fitting would be if the water fittings were going side to side) to the high point of the pipe should be about 2". Cut the header off so only about 1/4" sticks up inside the pipe. This should work awesome with any of the normal 12 props being used now days.
 
I don't have the carbon version, but I have the metal .12 Texan pipe. I have it at exactly 2". I concur with HDR.

I run the nova 12 tm-5 in a jae with carbon version Texan pipe. I also concur with the posts above. Two inches to the widest point. Try a Sholund profiled 40 x 53 prop.
