Thanks David, What kind of prop are you pulling@ sea level??GlennMAC 1385 13cc pipe will pull more prop in a mono. It also Rev's real nice.
Tried both pipes and the macs hands down will pull a bigger prop in a heavy boat.

Thanks Joe, I can try a couple smaller volume pipes first(AB 67/80 quiet and Irwin quiet) but it might be a moot point as I just read the Utah club(gas sniffers) do not want to mix the nitro and gas classes anymore and theres no X mono in Nor Cal. I think this is the second or third boat I've built that was obsolete before it got wet.VAC 91 DOES Not need a lot of pipe Volume. it breaths very good on the intake side.
Got in touch with the Club Prez in UT it's going to a vote but no 3rd ch needle control- it might happen. All the guys are leaning to OPEN classes which would include gassers to ??? CC's any fuel.id say thats whyGlenn we race together here in a Umlimited Class & Open classes. Todays Big Block CMB`s can Easily out run a Modified Z engine or Quickdraw. Maybe why they dont want to play anymore??????? It is about having Fun anyways.......
