That pile of fire wood in the back ground is very nice for a cold winter nite. The sponsons are made with white foam and will need work just as soon as you get the boat rigged and running right. Been there done that but it was fun.

yes that is a nice pile of firewood about 8 cords and it was fun but its all about gone now, soon i'll start over hoping to get 10 cords for next winter, by the way its all hickory, ash and oak.

I have a Pinckert Coyote .80 size outrigger kit, it came semi-built as well (circa 1989), still sitting in original box in my garage. Very nicely laid-up. Not sure the sponsons in this kit are composed of "white foam"? It was designed to fit a Rossi .80 (which I have).
Kit includes a conventional .25in thick aluminum engine mounting plate which is attatched on-top angled hardwood blocks using (vertically) positioned isolated rubber fasteners. May instead modify engine compartment (cut-out hardwood blocks) and try fitting the more popular type isolated engine mount (5in wide).

I'm still excited to complete and run it.

Here are some pictures of a Coyote I rebuilt and gave it to a friend only to make him start race. He still doesn’t race so I assume it was money out the window.

The boat is old, last time it was in use it was raced as a SAW by a Norwegian in US. The formal owner raced in a competition against Andy Brown.

It’s been painted by me in a regular workshop not meant for painting.

Is this the "Daytona" style Coyote? did you get this brand-new originally? Are these fiberglass?

Sorry, you are right, I should know as I used to race Coyote boats back in the 80,s.

It is a Daytone.

The sponsons are made of wood
