They are very fast but the concern with Picco is parts. The 45 is known for breaking pistons and shearing off the crankpin if you over rev them.

Hi,

I don't know much about Picco engine, but I've bought many things with Professional Models. Service is really good, and the owner Nelson stand by the things he sold.

My 0.002 cent

Me too Jason, next time you see Nelson tell Him Mike G from Australia said "hello" :D

Perhaps I should have worded it differently!

- they break if you try and run the pipe very short like a MAC, K, CMB etc. Keep the pipe longer and use the torque to swing a large prop. I have seen one break a crankpin on the starting table before. Probably due to earlier abuse!

I have no doubts about dealing with the supplier mentioned - more the factory making the parts. If that is not the issue it has been in the past then that is good news for all the people out there with broken Picco's.

Hey Jason,

Is Winning model in HK still in existence? Also - who is good for JR stuff?

Thanks,

Tim.

Dear Tim,

Yes Winning is still in existance, but the cummulated age of their about ten or so staffs are about 1,000 years old :p

Same as the ages of their staffs, Winning is getting a bit old also....Now they do only wholesale, but basically aside from Kyosho cars others are "on order basis"....That means they now do not have much stock of other stuffs in their office.... Actually for JR some local shops actually "black market" stuffs from Japan direct to save time and satisfy demand.

What JR stuffs are you looking for? I could look up local heli shops for you as they usually have the most JR stuffs.

And Mike, yes will do the "Hello" thing for you.

Regards,

Jason

I can not get anyone at Professional Models to respond to my email questions about the motors? Anyone have a clue why ? Thanks TJ
