I have a choice to make and part of that is not to run 60 mono. Just for a little back ground, I built a Aeromarine Changer Pro 5 years ago when I thought I was ready to get back into nitro boating, I ran I once and decided it was not time to get back into boating yet. Took the engine out of the boat and oiled it down really well. 6 months ago I broke it out and started running the boat again, runs great but I think i'm leaning more to running gas boats and 60 mono was never my class to began with. The motor was bought new from Bill at Speedmaster has had maybe 1/2 gal of Red Max 50% nitro 1/2 caster run in it fat. The motor is 100% stock. If I decide to part this boat out what would this Blue Head Picco go far price wise? I do not want to put it on E bay. What is it worth?

Its worth whatever someone will pay..... :p

I would say about half of whatever you paid for it......$$$$$$$$

I have one on ebay right now for $150 (reserve), and it has the RPM rod in it.....

"pristine", now there's a word that takes alot of faith in the "used model boat engine" column.

A new engine just disassembled and put back together can be a disaster,,,$300 might be a bit steep.

My first one only cost $344,, new.

If I was bidding on ebay I wouldn't go past $225. Parts are hard to come by so it's sort of a hold your breath and pray it's not a one time run motor and toss if it leans out and explodes.

Yea i bought my first picco p45 for $50.00 new in box,its all about who wants it some guys got to have the 67 motors and others dont want them. See how good they still run in Atlanta in a few weeks i bet Joe Warren has lotsa them in all his big boats................

"pristine" would be a word I would use to discribe this motor. But you guys are right, very scary buying used stuff. Guess I will keep the package in tack and just run it and keep my fingers crossed, if it goes then in goes the CMB that is like 12 years old and has about the same amount of run time.

Thanks.
