The motor is very tight I thought It may run in but I was wrong will need to order a piston and rod all and all not a bad day weather was good and I was with good friends. I think even though I am off to a bad start with this motor In the end it will be a good motor it was fun to run nitro again.

Gary I feel like $hit for what happen to your engine :( it had to happen will I was starting it and yes the plug was loose every time we started the engine. That was about the 4th time the boat was going out and it did at list 7/8 laps each time. I think the 2nd time it went pretty good and it started a lot easier. the rod broke rite at the oil hole and it took a small piece out of the piston. I can believe it happen, everything was new :( Gary from what I read on this forum the rod and the crank pin gives out on this new piccos ......

nick, make sure you guys are running 19-20 percent oil. Many boat fuels today are blended for the needle brg engines we see now 12-16 percent oil..... Car or heli fuels can be under 10 percent oil..... You will have to add oil to get to 20 percent. Also if the engine is BLOCKING HARD?? (Piston very very tight @ the top of the stroke) you Cannot over rev that engine it will pull the bottom out of the rod. Mike has the stainless flywheel cones to help align the crank & help it stay put. just trying to help.

I was using Nicks fuel Richers brew at 20 % and I had Mike Hallam install the stainless cone .
