WOW

So does Gordon get sat down for the last race, you almost gotta think so

Sure isn't gonna hurt ratings for Homestead .................

Almost have to wonder why the caution didnt get tossed when Danica crashed too :(

was pretty wild there at the end. Gordon lost a lot of respect from me. Kind of a chump move to be honest. Def not a champion move, thats for sure. Then again, I like Bowyer, so I might be biased ;) His crew sure was ready to kick some tail!

Heard they were gonna let Clint kick his ass on Tuesday and call it good

I'd pay to see it B)

They just said on Sportscenter the DP caused that last wreck

Maybe the lack of a caution and the fluid from her wrecked car but damn.

Well, Hockey season seems to be shot so NACAR had to take up the slack!

I was putting my money on Clint.

WTHeck..

Nothing wrong with a a good ol' fashioned ass whoopin' like the very first LIVE televised NASCAR race in 1979.

Did Clint's crew guy hit Gordon? Is there not a rule that Gordon can be held until the other violated driver. (Clint), can show up and "whoop" on him? Why did they not let Clint pound on Gordon for a while?

Boy they are really wrecking what used to be a fun sport. May as well watch a spelling bee. Golly Gee Wizz..

Technology killed a good azz whoopen to Gordon from Boyer -

in 79 there would not have been a camera following him through the pits to the 24 hauler and radio communication would have never gotten a Nascar official to block the way at the door in time for CB not to have bum rushed him in his trailer.

What sucks in cases like this is that innocent drivers like Aric and Joey got involved in someone else's fight. Take it behind the barn boys if you have to as you're risking more than your lives out there on the track.

Now to wait and see what the boys in the NASCAR trailer will do about this. Rumor is that Jeff should be parked for next week. It might be safer for the finale at Homestead to again keep it off the track.

I also question whether or not it was intentional in the initial wreck as the track has been slick all week. Both were racing for a good finish and the points so why trash the other's car?

Yes you are correct Sir..

The "ME" generation..

The penalties handed down. First, that was quick for NASCAR as I expected it to take until at least Tuesday for it to happen.

Jeff gets a $100K fine, 25 driver points loss and probation until December 31st. Big whoppin' deal! Only one race left between now and then so he only got a tiny slap on the wrsit. For him that might have required hospitalization! :D He should have gotten placed on probation a lot longer, at least through March or April of next year.

I have an idea that security is going to be tight as Homestead.

Bad Brad in the blue 2 also got a $25K fine for having a cell phone in his car, texting and delaying the restart of the race after the red flag.

Your Boy Clint is ALL BARK........ NO BITE!!!!!!!! MWR will get a handle on him... Or he will run up a Fee MWR Cannot Pay!!!!!!! Nascar wont think twice about handing him a $100,000 ticket next weekend too!!!!!! p.s. Is easy to be a BAD ASS when you know others will be between you..... I vote for a cage match in homestead...... we can solve all of the indifferences at the final race.

Yup, an MMA cage, boxing ring or just a good old-fashioned fist fight out behind the trailers would really settle things with no teammates or NASCAR security holding them back! I'd still put my money on CB over Wonderboy as he's geekin' on 5-Hour Energy! :D

I think that the race at Homestead is going to have a bigger TV share than usual just because viewers will want to see if any more doo-doo hits the fan.

I thought Gordon was smarter than that. Using 900hp at 150+ is just not good. Till someone really gets hurt Nascar will skirt around it much like the NHL does fighting. The fine and even a suspension won't do much. 4-5 owners lost good race cars and they all know that sponsors will take notice (not negatively) and next years TV contracts won't suffer. Much like Cale vs Bobby got the party started and everyones checks got bigger, this won't be the end of stupid moves satisfying a crowds needs for thugery. That said if they just would of collected the "Blue Duece" in the crash, I would call it a wash.

The caution flag at the end reminds me how dads used to volunteer as home arena hosts to run the clock at hockey games. If little Johnny was in the penalty box the clock might run a couple seconds after the whistle. When opposing team was in the box the clock stopped before the pea started turning in the refs whistle.
