Phil Thomas T-5 Strut location

Phil, this is for you mostly, but anyone can chime in. The hull is marked to cut the slot for the struc on the engine well centerline and not the hull centerline. I just wanted to verify that this is correct for this hull.

I used Phils locations on my T5 (electric )and it tracked perfectly.The only place were I strayed was off of the markings for the strut.Phils markings made my strut too far back( I had a long strut ) placing the drive dog past the legal zone.

If you have the set up sheet,Use those directions and the boat should be spot on off the bench.With only minor strut angle adjustments. Cant wait to start work on my next 8th scale for 07.
