Hey Jabberjaw............er..........Gene (yea, yea Gene...thats it)
In got that notice too. And I saw a two paragraph newspaper article about it.
Did you get this one??
About a month ago, I got another e-mail saying that someone had tried to use my paypal account and I needed to re-enter all my personal and bank info. The e-mail had the Paypal logo and the same background you see when you access your account. Looked absolutely real!! but i noticed it didn't have that little "secured connection" icon at the lower right corner of the screen.
Turned out to be totally bogus.....When you clicked the link on the e-mail, you could trace the path back to a web page some guy posted his pet's pictures on.
Evevyone should know that idenity theft is a very real problem. It can happen without you knowing about it. Someone got my credit card info and tried to buy $3000.00 worth of Bibles to be shipped to somewhere in South America. The thieving, evangelist-wannabe almost got away with it.
O.K ............I'll put the soap box away now.............
Bob the Fool
