Password Issues!

Im sure its something im doing wrong, but i havent been getting here a whole lot lately, and a while back i signed on with with, i believe the same PW ive used for years, and i could not log on...when i do the i cant remember my password thing, it gives me a new password, it works for a while, then i cant log on again...i would just like to use my old password(i shoulda wrote it down) or another basic password like i used to have... what do i do? Or, what am i doing wrong? Never had this problem before.....! Also, my emoticons wont work but it shows them to be enabledMAN! Im a MESS!

Take a shot of Windex and PM Ferrette, you'll be fine.

The password forget email must be a reset, maybe you have t create a new password???o

Take a shot of Windex and PM Ferrette, you'll be fine.

I don't know how IW has things set up, but if you're using the password you get when you go through the "Forgot Password" process, it's probably that the password given is only good for a short time.

I don't know how IW has things set up, but if you're using the password you get when you go through the "Forgot Password" process, it's probably that the password given is only good for a short time.

Jim, im pretty sure you are right.....The new passwords i get are jumbled up letter and numbers that work for a while, then they dont!

yep, the forum software automatically generates those and they expire after a little bit. just go into your profile and change your password to the one you want.

Thats the deal-

After receiving your temp password Bill -

You will need to Click on your name on the top right of the page-Hit "My Settings" and hit "email and passwords" and reset your password.
